CREA-TEC aims to promote the responsible integration of GenAI tools into creative practices, contributing to an understanding of who is empowered by these new forms of creativity and who, instead, needs to be protected.

More specifically, the aims of CREA-TEC are to:
• Involve creatives in the process of designing AI-powered tools that support, uplift, and benefit their creative work, while upholding dignity and respect for the individual creative.
• Identify the new set of skills, and relative training opportunities, needed by creatives in the current technological landscape.
• Understand the implications of GenAI on trust, authenticity, and the consumption of digital content by investigating how the increased awareness that content may have been AI-generated influences the audience’s need for authenticity signals.
