David Mahoney is a PhD candidate at The University of Edinburgh’s Institute for Design Informatics. His doctoral research examines web archives as instruments for understanding the evolution, impact and sustainability of the web, while developing approaches to improve their accessibility, interoperability and reuse as research infrastructure. He is the founder of Overbrowsing, an applied research initiative exploring the web of yesterday, today and tomorrow. He currently works at The University of Edinburgh’s Heritage Collections Web Archive.
